About

Leyden Rovelo-Krull
Faithful. Formed. Fired up for Justice.
Leyden Rovelo-Krull is a Catholic speaker, writer, and ministry leader with a passion for helping the Church live its mission — in the pews, in the public square, and everywhere in between.

As Director of Hispanic Ministry for the Diocese of Kansas City–St. Joseph, she leads formation, outreach, and leadership development rooted in Catholic social teaching. With a background in legal and policy studies and formation in the Thomistic tradition, Leyden combines deep theological grounding with a gift for translating Church teaching into daily life. Her work spans from charism discernment and parish renewal to immigration advocacy and evangelization — always with the goal of drawing people closer to Christ and His Church.

The daughter of Honduran and Puerto Rican immigrants, Leyden brings cultural depth and personal authenticity to every talk, class, or collaboration. She is a contributor to The Catholic Key magazine, a former collaborator with the Catherine of Siena Institute and Saint Paul Street Evangelization, and an active advocate on Capitol Hill for human dignity and just policies.

Whether she’s teaching in English or Spanish, in a parish hall or a policy meeting, Leyden speaks with clarity, conviction, and just enough humor to keep people listening.

She holds a degree in Legal and Policy Studies and graduated summa cum laude from Fordham University. She currently lives, writes, and creates from wherever her RV is parked — ideally near a lake, her husband, and their two small dogs.

Why ProVision Productions?
In 2008, I was a novice in a convent in Michigan. It was the most amazing and transformative experience of my religious life. Of all the many wonderful graces I received at that time, before I discerned out, the most wonderful was my name in religion. Every sister is given a new name, as she is being made a new creation in Christ, and with the new name comes a patron saint or blessed. For me this was Blessed Miguel Agustin Pro.
